The 2017 Recreational Services Club of Origin One kicked off Sunday 13 August at East Coast Bays RFC, Windsor Park. 14 teams entered for the first of two sessions, 6 x Under 17 Open, 4 x Under 15 Open and 4 x Under 15 Restricted Weight and turned up on a sunny winters day ready to roll. The referees were on form and Rambo had the club field sorted and looking good with Frankie keeping the club rooms in good order. The Mitre 10 Cup squad finished their training and watched the first games at 1pm which went through to 4pm. The popular sausage sizzle was manned by Greg and his rugby development crew of Sarah, Bill and Adam who toiled away all day turning out the tucker and the cordial. It is anticipated there will be more entries at the second session to be held Sunday 10 September at a venue to be advised.
