COMMUNITY RUGBY CONCLUDES
Although we had hoped to finish off the season, the extension to Auckland’s current level 2.5 restrictions has forced the abandonment of the 2020 Senior, Secondary Schools and Junior North Harbour Club Rugby season. The community Rugby committees confirmed this decision overnight.
As a Union, we would like to thank our committee leaders and Rugby committees (Council of Clubs, Secondary Schools Committee, Referees executive, Junior Rugby Committee) and NZR for their support throughout.
We would also like to recognise all of the vital sponsors for supporting our Clubs and Schools.
Finally, to all of the families, coaches, managers, committee members, referees, volunteers and participants who make Rugby possible in our community, we very much appreciate all that you have done this year and look forward to seeing you in 2021.
