HARBOUR GENEROSITY DELIGHTS TANIA DALTON FOUNDATION

It's always nice to put a smile on peoples faces, and on Friday Sept 29, it was all about celebrating the Queen of the Smile Tania Dalton, in our Charity Round of the Mitre 10 Cup. QBE North Harbour and the Tania Dalton Foundation (TDF) would like to thank our fans and stakeholders for some amazing generosity, and let you know how much we managed to raise for this amazing cause.

The team wore special jerseys incorporating the TDF yellow, and the jerseys were signed by the player that wore it, and auctioned off in a silent auction in the lounge during the game. on the night, all going for between $250 and $850. James Parsons #2 jersey was auctioned off live on stage off his back directly after the game and was signed by the whole squad, and went for a whopping $2000, as well as proceeds from ticket sales, bucket collections, the Halftime kick for cash, and Paladin selling replica TDF jerseys direct from their website.

In total, $17,000 was raised for TDF through;

Jersey Auction

Ticket purchase (50% of the ticket going to TDF)

Bucket Collection

Half Time – Kick For Cash

Special Replica Jersey sales through Paladin.

TDF Trustee Duane Dalton was delighted, and very grateful.
"To see the team run out in these yellow jerseys was extremely special for all who knew and were touched by Tania. Sneaking a win [v Hawkes Bay] made the occasion even sweeter."
