North Harbour Club Rugby Milestones – 250 and 100 Premier Games

North Harbour Club Rugby Milestones – 250 and 100 Premier Games

During April and early May several club stalwarts will achieve Centurion or higher status in Premier club rugby for their respective clubs.

A particularly outstanding achievement is by Haden Kose of Mahurangi Rugby Club who will play his 250th game for the Warkworth club on Thursday night 18 April versus neighbours Silverdale.  40 year old Haden is born and raised in Warkworth and played for his club for several decades since he was 4 years old, 20 of those years as a Premier player.  The Kose name is synonymous with Mahurangi Rugby Club with his grandfather and father heavily involved in administration and now Haden’s children are running around in blue and white hoops.  Congratulations from the Union to Haden Kose on achieving 250 games for Mahurangi.

Three other players will also achieve Centurion status in the next few weeks with Jamie Turner of Silverdale also earning his black Centurion blazer in the fixture against Mahurangi tonight along with Kumeu stalwart Pita Volavola playing his 100th game for Kumeu against East Coast Bays at Riverhead.  Courtney McCarthy-Henderson of Northcote will play his 100th Premier game on 4 May versus North Shore at Harvey Wright fields.  Congratulations to those players on their achievement from the Union.
