NORTH HARBOUR RUGBY & QBE SUPPORT KIDSCAN'S BACK TO SCHOOL CAMPAIGN

During Level 3, North Harbour Rugby were incredibly excited to support the KidsCan Back to Schools campaign. North Harbour Rugby share some wonderful partners with KidsCan and it was a great opportunity to bring these organisations together for an amazing cause.

Julie Chapman, CEO of KidsCan acknowledged Harbour Rugby’s Support. "At KidsCan we are facing unprecedented demand for food support - this term we'll be feeding 10,000 more children a day. We needed to get a record 152 tonnes of food out to our schools, and we couldn't have done that without the help of volunteers. We are so grateful to North Harbour Rugby for the time they gave us. It means kids go back to school this week with full tummies, so they can just focus on playing and learning."

David Gibson, CEO of North Harbour Rugby also commented on the wonderful work KidsCan does. “What KidsCan do is just so important. Last year they fuelled an average of 30,000 kids a day. We have a valued mutual partner in QBE who support our Rugby community.  Through this connection we were able to our little bit to help out Julie and her hardworking team with this meaningful campaign. We encourage people to get behind this great organisation.
