QBE NORTH HARBOUR MOURNS THE LOSS OF JIM STUART

QBE North Harbour Rugby Union is saddened to acknowledge the passing of Jim Stuart, the first President of the North Harbour Rugby Union, and Life member of North Shore Rugby Club.

Jim was the President from 1985 - 1986 so was influential in the early days of the union through the North Harbour Senior Management Board, and was among the group around the table who decided that our beloved cardinal should be included in the jersey design, and the Hibiscus as the emblem.

Current President John McKittrick was saddened by the news.
"Jim was an outstanding contributor to Harbour Rugby and will be sadly missed. Never heard him speak a bad word. A true gentleman."

Our thoughts, prayers, and thanks go out to Melanie, Gordon, Jamie, Campbell, and their families.

RIP Jim.
