The 2017 Under 15 Secondary School tournament was held Wednesday 8 November on the Oval fields at QBE Stadium. 12 teams attended with 9 boys teams in two pools and three girls teams. The day started out wet but finished in sunshine with the strong wind having some influence in play on the great hybrid pitches with school tents around the boundary. Westlake Boys continued their domination of the boys division winning for the 5th year in a row comfortably beating their usual rivals Rosmini 31-5 in the final. Long Bay Girls bounced back from a loss to Kaipara Girls in pool play to win 22-5 in the final.
