Brett Craies appointed as the Skills Coach for QBE North Harbour

North Harbour Rugby is proud to announce today that Brett Craies will be the Skills Coach for QBE North Harbour Rugby for 2019 on a part time basis.

QBE North Harbour’s Head Coach Kieran Keane said that he was pleased with the appointment.

“Brett demonstrated a strong understanding and depth of knowledge when it came to skills coaching and strike attack, and he gave a good account of the technical and tactical requirements around the role.  He will add a lot of value”

“And pleasingly, he is a passionate Harbour man and has strong connections with the community and its people.”

Craies, who coached Northcote Premiers in back to back titles in 2017 & 2018, and supported the QBE Harbour wider training squad last year, said that he was really looking forward to the opportunity. 

“Rugby and coaching has been a big part of my life.  I am excited by the opportunity to extend myself as a coach, with a team I am passionate about and within a community that I care for.” 

“I am looking forward to the challenge, am excited to work with Kieran, Sam and a first class management team; and support the Players as best I can.”
 

Craies will begin immediately and his portfolio with the QBE Harbour team will focus on core skill development and strike plays.
