Bryn Gatland, who trained with the Blues pre-season and comes off a stint with the Crusaders, has been named on the bench to make his Super Rugby debut for The Blues this weekend v the Highlanders at Forsyth Barr stadium, a field he knows well having beaten home team Otago in the final of the Mitre 10 Cup Championship there last year!
