The Club of Origin Programme is designed to encourage players that have played junior rugby for their Junior Club in the past, to return and play for their Club.
This programme will help, whilst playing rugby for their school, foster links between clubs and secondary school players.
The rugby is to be festive, enjoyable, not overly competitive and inclusive of all players with minimal training, minimal administration and match protocols, plus minimised impact on school rugby.
Coaches will be former junior coaches who have maintained contact with the players from junior rugby days and are showing potential for higher coaching appointments in Secondary School and Senior Club Rugby.
Three grades – Under 17 Open Weight, U15 Open Weight and U15 Restricted (Current 6th and 7th grade players only) with age is as at 1 January of the current season.
