Daniel Halangahu appointed Mitre 10 Cup Assistant Coach

North Harbour Rugby's 2016 Mitre 10 Cup campaign preparations take a step up this week with recently appointed Assistant Coach Daniel Halangahu arriving back from France where he has been playing & coaching Narbonne.

Halangahu who has played the last two seasons for North Harbour steps into the Assistant Coach role this season supporting Head Coach Steve Jackson. Jackson says "We are excited about this appointment and it will be fantastic to have Dan back here on the ground. We have been in constant communication over the last 6 weeks planning the detail around this year's campaign."

Also next Wednesday a North Harbour wider training squad, selected on club form (no Super 15 players) will travel north to Waipu to play against Northland at 7.30pm that evening. The wider training group have been working together since March and are looking forward to the hit out against Northland next Wednesday which will be played under the new tackle laws that are being trialled in the 2016 Mitre 10 Cup.
