North Harbour referee Danny Morrison made his first-class debut whistling the Thames Valley vs. King Country Heartland match in Te Aroha.
As well as being tipped for a big future refereeing, Danny is also a former Thames Valley first-five and North Harbour 'B' rugby player, a former surf life saving representative and world IRB driving champion and has qualified as a surf life saving offcial in the past few years. He also helps coach at the Mairangi Bay Club.
