The Harbour 7's team to contest the National Championship this weekend in Rotorua was announced on the 12 January. The squad played a warm-up tournament last weekend, beating Manawatu, drawing with Auckland and losing in extra time to Canterbury in pool play.
Peter White, 7's Team Manager commented that this was a good hit out for the team looking towards this weekends Nationals (17 and 18 Jan), "we played some good footie and the boys realise we still have some more juice in us to give". With no serious injury concerns, the squad will be working hard this week to complete their preparations. If you are at a loose end this weekend and fancy a couple of days out of town - get to Rotorua and support the boys!
