Hibiscus face another test of character

Hibiscus face another test of character

The Harbour Hibiscus take to the big stage tomorrow when they play in the Mitre10 Cup curtain raiser against the Manawatu Cyclones at QBE Stadium. After a good win over Bay of Plenty in the opening round, the Hibiscus - who are in their first year in the WPC - have found the going just how they expected it to be, tough. Tomorrow they take on a Cyclones side that has a 2 win / 2 loss record, coming off an impressive win over Waikato last week. "Looking at Manawatu's games we can see they have stayed in the fight. They may not have won every game, but they have given themselves opportunities to in each occasion" says Bill Wigglesworth Head Coach "Our challenge tomorrow will be to execute our plays as we want to and to stay in the fight. It will be a challenge, but the team are up for it."
