JUNIOR RUGBY
In consultation with the Junior Rugby committee it has been decided that no rugby training will go ahead during the current Level 2 rules in Auckland which currently limit gatherings to 10 people. The Junior committee has agreed to meet again early next week to make a final decision on when, if at all, junior rugby may be able to go ahead again.
We will continue to update our planning as we receive further information from the Government and NZR. We acknowledge that this has not been the easiest road home, and if a Club, School or team decide not to play anymore Rugby this season, that is totally understandable given the circumstances. People and community safety, trusting the experts advice, and ensuring the plan meets the needs of our community, will continue to drive our decision making.
