Application for Independent Board Members (2)
The North Harbour Rugby Union invites applications for the position of two Independent Board Members.
Under the Board rotation policy one Independent Board Member vacancy arises each year. (Applicants should be aware that the incumbent Board Member is eligible to reapply). In addition to this, a current Independent Board Member has resigned and therefore there are two vacancies.
These roles requires a corporate governance focus, with responsibility for monitoring the strategic direction and management policies of the organisation while taking into account the interests of relevant stakeholders.
Applicants will have proven business experience and success at a senior management or board level. They will possess a high level of commercial awareness coupled with excellent leadership capabilities to contribute to the Harbour Rugby success. A strong interest in rugby and an understanding of the importance of Provincial rugby in New Zealand is essential.
