The 1st week of Junior Tournament was completed on Sunday 24 July at Silverdale for J1/J2 grades,whilst the J3 grade was at Mahurangi and with J4 at Helensville.
J1 is contested in 4 regional teams with Northern Reds beating Southern Sharks comfortably and Central Sabres putting away the Western Pioneers. The J1 regional teams will continue a round-robin on 7/20 August with 1v2 and 3v4 finals 28 August.
J2, J3 and J4 have reduced to eight teams each from the 24 July seeding round in the three grades for the quarter-finals to be held 7 August. From the quarters the teams will contest Championship (winners) and Plate (losers) semi’s Sunday 20 August followed by finals Sun 29 August.
