Congratulations to Kaipara College who are the 2016 North Harbour Secondary School Girls Champs!
The final was played Monday afternoon 15/8, with Kaipara taking on Glenfield/Hato Petera College.
Both teams played some quality footy, scored some skillful tries and put in many big hits. However Kaipara managed to run away with the score in the second half. The final score was 49-12.
Both teams had great support on the side line and the weather was perfect to watch two quality sides battle for the trophy. This is the third year in a row Kaipara has won the title and they will be looking to continue this streak next year with only a handful of their players leaving school.
Congratulations to both Callum Finlay, James Johnson and teachers in charge for getting both teams into the final and for a successful season.
