Massey 7's Team - Middlesex County Cup National Club 7's
Congratulations to the Massey 7's team who took part in the Middlesex County Cup National Club 7's, held at the Melville RFC in Hamilton on the 4th and 5th of February.
They won all three pool games, quarter-final against Hamilton Marist Old Boys, semi-final against Upper Hutt RFC and then played Eden RFC in the final - finishing second to Eden. It was an excellent effort considering there were a lot of the teams from all over NZ who had provincial representative players in their sides.
Congratulations to Aupiu Pritchard and Phil Tuigamala, who coached the team over the summer season and to all the boys who took part in this tournament, a fantastic result.
Mark Telea was named in the tournament team, with an outstanding display of 7's rugby over the 2 days.
