The 36th NHRU AGM is scheduled for Wednesday 24th March 2021, 7.00pm in the South Lounge, First Floor, North Harbour Stadium, Stadium Drive, Albany.

2. Officers
Nominations for Officers (Patron, President, and Vice President) are called for and must be in the hands of the Board 35 days prior to the date fixed for the Annual General Meeting by Wednesday 17th February 2021. The current Officers of the Union are:
Patron Peter Dolan
President Brett Norris
Vice-President Alan Linstrom
The Patron Peter Dolan will seek re-election. The current President Brett Norris and the current Vice-President Alan Linstrom will both be entering their second terms; therefore, an election is not required for both these positions. As Alan was appointed in a casual vacancy role as Vice President, ratification will be required at the AGM.
3. Business
You are reminded that under Clause 14.2 of the Constitution no business shall be transacted unless notice thereof shall have been given in writing to the Chief Executive of the Union at least 14 days prior to the meeting (i.e., Wednesday 10th March 2021).
4. Attendees
Under Clause 14.5(c) you must advise the names of your representatives at least 48 hours before the date of the meeting (i.e., Monday 22nd March 2020). Clubs and Affiliated bodies are entitled to be represented as per Clause 14.6 (a).
APPOINTED INDEPENDENT BOARD MEMBERS:
A great opportunity has arisen for a two Appointed Directors to help lead North Harbour Rugby.
North Harbour Rugby was formed in 1985 and encompasses a geographical area that includes 12 rugby clubs and 18 secondary schools within the North Harbour region.
Harbour Rugby is proud of its Purpose, “Improving Lives, Through Rugby”. The Union also aspires to achieve the following Vision- Growing People, Connected Community, Harbour Rugby: A Community Driven Provincial Union.
This Purpose and Vision is supported by the Harbour Way:
The purpose of the North Harbour Board is to establish and monitor the strategic direction and performance of the Union on behalf of its stakeholders.
The Union needs leaders who are passionate about Rugby and will drive the Harbour Way in our community.
Due to the current composition, the Board is also looking to improve its diversity.
