The Community Rugby Team had a busy week with 3 Primary and Intermediate Tournaments held all across the region. On Tuesday the Massey RFC hosted their local Primary Schools for their Rippa tournament. It was great to be there after some poor weather last week had forced us to postpone the tournament. On Wednesday the Intermediate Schools had a chance to showcase their skills in boys tackle 7's and girls Rippa 7's. Some quality footy was on display on all the fields at Marist RFC and the weather also played its part to give students some rugby before the school holidays. Finally, on Thursday, Silverdale RFC hosted its Primary Schools in Rippa and tackle 7's and 10's. With over 6 full fields in use we had over 500 students participating, a great effort by the schools up there. Schools take a break now for a few weeks and then we're back next term at the Kumeu RFC. Enjoy the holidays.
