A great opportunity has arisen as the Assistant Coach of the North Harbour QBE Mitre 10 Cup Programme; and to support the growth of the Rugby in the Province.
North Harbour Rugby was formed in 1985 and encompasses a geographical area that includes 12 rugby clubs and 18 secondary schools within the North Harbour region.

The purpose of the Assistant Coach role is:
To lead the Forward Play (including set piece & breakdown) for the North Harbour QBE Mitre 10 Cup Programme & provide Community Player Development Services.
To be considered for this role the person must be a leader to drive the Harbour Way in our community. This must be backed up by strong personal qualities and a management style that connects, grows & potentiates our people. The person must have solid Rugby acumen and be technically and tactically proficient in Forward Play (including set piece & breakdown) of the modern game. Although not critical, having some understanding of coaching Defence would also be advantageous. We would expect the person to have 5 years+ coaching experience in today’s current performance Rugby landscape, preferable at Mitre 10 Cup Level (national domestic). The person must also exhibit a passion and desire to connect with our community game.
