QBE HARBOUR NAME SIDE FOR SECOND RANFURLY SHIELD CHALLENGE

On the 24th September 2006 a determined North Harbour Rugby side traveled down to Jade Stadium in Christchurch and successfully beat Canterbury in their eleventh Ranfurly Challenge 21-17. Two tries to Viliame Waqaseduadua, one to Rua Tipoki, three conversions to Luke McAlister, 80 minutes later and the Log o' Wood was heading North.
This Friday 7th October North Harbour get an opportunity to repeat past success and bring the Shield back North. It will be their second challenge this 2016 Mitre 10 Cup Season.
