The 2016 Recreational Services Club Of Origin Programme is kicking off at Silverdale this Sunday 14 August following the cancellation 24 July due to inclement weather and poor ground conditions.
We will proceed with the same draw kicking off at 1pm with the last game at 4pm, playing on 4 fields on the half-hour.
The weather gods will hopefully be kind to us and we can get the programme underway. There will be a free sausage sizzle to players as they finish their second game thanks to sponsorship by Recreational Services.
There was some disappointed kids a couple of weeks ago but hopefully we can get it across the line this Sunday. There is quite a buzz around the Union regarding this concept, the media is interested and the club stalwarts are very positive about the programme.
