SENSE RUGBY NEW ZEALAND

Over the October School Holidays, North Harbour Rugby and Long Bay College, with the generous support of New Zealand Rugby is partnering with Sense Rugby to deliver a trial rugby programme designed for youth with invisible disabilities. This is to provide an opportunity for those youth that often find physical and social barriers to participating in general sport offerings as a result of their development delays.

Sense Rugby is an accredited sport provider in Australia that delivers a rugby based Occupational Therapy programme and was founded in October 2015 by Paediatric Occupational Therapist, Carlien Parahi and Australian Rugby Sevens Olympian, Jesse Parahi (Ngāti Kahungunu). You can view more about their programme at http://www.senserugby.com.au/.

The 5 day programme is being run @ Long Bay College Monday 5th – Friday 9th October 3-4pm  - see https://www.facebook.com/SenseRugby/posts/3236617116413973
