Three changes for Battle of the Bridge

Three changes for Battle of the Bridge

19 September 2014

Head coach Steve Jackson has rewarded the majority of the starting side who led QBE Harbour to their first win of the season over Manawatu by retaining them for tomorrow’s clash with Auckland.

Michael Farmer returns from injury to start at lock ahead of Gerard Tuioti-Mariner.

Jordan Manihera reclaims his starting spot at blindside flanker in place of Irwin Finau, while in the only change to the backline Tevita Li returns on the left wing for David Raikuna.

In the reserves replacement hooker Ray Niuia is back from injury while flanker Josh Blucher is inline to earn his second cap after making a lasting impression against the Turbos.

It’s a busy schedule ahead for Jackson’s men with games against Canterbury (September 24) and Hawke’s Bay (September 27) following in quick succession.
