The U19 grade initiative, started as a 10-aside tournament will now play 15 aside for the final round of the season starting 18 June. Denis Henderson, Harbour Club Liaison Officer comments "This has been a successful trial, targeted at re-engaging kids leaving High School and keeping them in the game. With the momentum the trial has gained, we are now moving into the full game. They will have their final on 30 July. Northcote won the first round and lift the Water Little Shield – congratulations to coach Kieran Jones and the team!
In the first fixture of the second 15 aside round - Marist U19 will host Silverdale under lights tonight Friday night (a great initiative Marist!), Kumeu host North Shore on Saturday and Northcote have the bye.
